The Pokémon Special Box inspired by the Pokémon GO mobile game arrives this summer with exclusive cards like Mewtwo V PROMO!
Reminiscent of the Pokémon GO experience, some of the Pokémon seem to have leapt into the real world, like Pikachu walking alongside its Trainer and Snorlax dozing on a porch. Some cards feature Pokémon that have a connection to Pokémon GO, like the Mythical Pokémon Meltan, originally discovered in Pokémon GO.
The Trainer cards also capture the Pokémon GO vibe. The PokéStop Stadium card can find Item cards near the top of the deck each turn. Similarly, the Lure Module Item card allows both players to find Pokémon near the top of their decks.
And it should come as no surprise that Candela, Spark, and Blanche, the leaders of Team Valor, Team Instinct, and Team Mystic, are making their Pokémon TCG debuts as Supporter cards. These three also appear as beautiful full-color cards.
