Pokémon 25th Anniversary Booster Box

The official Pokémon 25th Anniversary Booster Box, containing 16 booster packs filled with holographic cards, is coming to your home at the end of the year!

This 25th Anniversary set contains 28 cards.All cards in the set are holographic. You'll find the Legendary Pokémon Palkia, Dialga, Zacian, Zamazenta, and Mew.

The Japanese expansion will be released in October 2021 to celebrate the 25th anniversary and will include new Pikachu cards, as well as returning older editions.

Three of the new Pikachu cards are remakes of iconic cards from the game's long history, such as the Surfing Pikachu and Flying Pikachu promotional cards.

Pikachu V with Boosted HP

Card health and attacks have also been updated to reflect the evolving power of the card game over the years. For example, Surfer Pikachu's cost has increased from two to three Water Energy, but it now deals 150 damage instead of the original 30. Its health has also quadrupled, from 50 to 200 HP.

Flying Pikachu, which appears to be suspended by balloons, has seen its Flying attack damage radically increased to 120, and its HP increased from 40 to 190.

Pikachu VMAX

The new Flying Pikachu and Surfing Pikachu are Pokémon V cards, giving them increased power and health. Both cards will also come with VMAX variants, inspired by the giant Gigantamax and Dynamax Pokémon from the recent Sword and Shield video games, with full artwork and even more impressive stats.
